In bloom
This week had a bumper crop of lemon bee balm and sweet peas, so they’re in every bouquet. Forget-me-nots, bells of Ireland, and phlox are still hanging in there. The gladiolus, lily, and hydrangea are the big stars this week with support from foxglove, snapdragons, statice, dianthus, Love-in-a-Mist, Shasta Daisy, Purple Coneflower, and Yarrow with an occasional delphinium, carnation, larkspur, bachelor button, and verbena to support.

Farm Tasks for the Week
Finished weeding and adding support to the top and new fountain planters. Planted another section of sunflowers and waiting for my baby gomphrena, zinnia, and celosia to get a little bigger before they move outside. Losing a lot of seedlings due to someone chopping them off at the dirt level. Working on that problem.
The dogs made an early morning run on the top planter this week. Most of their digging was confined to a couple of beds that just had compost, but they did destroy a few of the dahlias. Needless to say, we got on the fence upgrade and finished that project this week. Now to see if they can add another foot to their jump.
Still collecting bluebonnet, dill, Icelandic poppy, and phlox seeds.
Chickens
Chickens survived the nephews throwing pebbles in their general direction with no egg abatement. Eggs are still at spring pricing.
