Sorry we were unable to attend the markets last Saturday. Gave it a good try, but when I nearly went flying holding onto the tent during a gust decided it was a no go.

We will be at Robson Ranch tomorrow (Friday) from 9 - noon, Coppell Farmers Market, and the Keller Farmers Market Saturday from 8 - noon. The Sunday flower cart will be out from roughly 10:00 - 7:00 wind permitting (< 15 mph).

Forget-Me-Nots, peonies, roses, foxglove, clematis, Sweet peas, snapdragons, statice, bluebonnets, Icelandic Poppy, dianthus, phlox, Bells of Ireland, and columbine are still producing. New arrivals this week include Balsam, Love-in-a-Mist, Shasta Daisy, Purple Coneflower, and Yarrow.

Available Starters / Seeds

Seeds: Cilantro, catnip, parsley, dill, morning glory, bells of Ireland, chamomile, bachelor’s button, love-in-a-mist (nigella), forget-me-nots, cosmos, dara (colored queen Anne’s lace), Mexican sunflowers, gomphrena, bee balm, celosia, cock’s comb, lime basil, blue spice basil, purple hyacinth bean, hardy hibiscus, bupleurum, and marigold.

Starters: We have tomatoes (Sweet 100, Early Bush, Abe Lincoln, Rutgers, Sweet Gardener, Sweetie, Black Cherry, and Celebration), Catnip, Cilantro, Curly Parsley, peppers, peppermint, apple mint, Rosemary, Lavender, Sage, Pink Yarrow, and Basil (Sweet, Genovese, and Globe).

Farm Tasks for the Week

Getting back out in the flower beds between the rain. Anemones have been dug out and the corms are drying before they go up for storage.

Starting more zinnias, sunflower, and celosia. Transplanted out the lisianthus and lime basil starters. Hopefully this batch of lisianthus takes as it is the latest we’ve ever tried sowing them.

Chickens

Chickens are good. Eggs are still at spring pricing.

We have a large assortment of handmade pressed flower or quilled cards along with quilling kits. Lots of bluebonnets, primrose, wine cup, roses, and statice.
