Find us at the Robson Ranch Farmers Market Friday (9/5) from 8-11 am and the Keller Farmers Market Saturday (9/6) from 8-noon. We will also have the Flower Cart out Sunday morning after 8:30 am.
In bloom
Flowers varieties are nearly identical to last week: zinnias, celosia, gomphrena, Mexican sunflower, and basil with a small number of snapdragons, clematis, ballon flower, verbena, and stray lisianthus.
Available Starters / Seeds
Seeds: Dill, Morning Glory, Bells of Ireland, chamomile, bluebonnets (manually scarified), bachelor’s button, love-in-a-mist (nigella), forget-me-nots, cosmos, dara (colored queen Anne’s lace), Mexican sunflowers, gomphrena, bee balm, celosia, cock’s comb, lime basil, blue spice basil, Thai basil, purple hyacinth bean, hardy hibiscus, bupleurum, and marigold.
Starters: Genovese Basil, orange thyme, and coleus.
BEARDED IRIS RHIZOMES at all markets this weekend (through 2nd week of October)!
Snapdragon starters look good. Likely available next weekend.

Farm Tasks for the Week
Replanted the top iris beds after amending the soil and dividing. All that’s left to do there is to keep the dogs from running through.
Potted up the first round of indoor starters into bigger pots. It’s still a little too warm/dry for them to get planted (plus the beds aren’t ready, lol).
Chickens
The guinea hen has decided to join the chicken, aka “Death Wish”, in escaping the coop. The dogs caught her, but it was luckily only psychological damage. She still is getting out but is getting faster about flying back in when they approach. We have eggs available this week.
