Farm Tasks for the Week
Raining and temperature drop … we’re officially in fall planting. Transplanted out the snapdragons, dianthus, and lisianthus just before the rain yesterday. Soaked the ranunculus and anemone corms. They have been planted in trays indoors for pre-sprouting. Will be planting them out in the next week or two.
Chickens
Chickens doubled their egg laying one day this week and then returned to their terrible numbers. Hopefully the rain and cool weather will encourage them to get to laying.
